Dr. McCaffrey’s Mission:
To help patients get their lives back by practicing the best therapies alternative healthcare has to offer.
Rebecca is Dr. Sean’s wife and business partner. Rebecca and Dr. Sean met back in March of 2009. At that time, Rebecca’s sister was battling end stage pancreatic cancer. Rebecca’s sister, Stacy, had been referred to Dr. Sean from a doctor she was seeing in St. Louis. Stacy’s family tried to talk her out of seeing Dr. Sean as Stacy had already seen a few holistic doctors. Unable to convince Stacy not to see Dr. Sean, Rebecca’s mother took Stacy in March of 2009 to her appointment to see Dr. Sean when he was operating his Hillsboro, IL office.
Stacy called Rebecca right after her appointment with Dr. Sean. She was ecstatic that after all the doctors she’d seen, from St. Louis to Houston, she’d finally found a doctor who actually made sense! She was full of hope and so was Rebecca. They went together to Stacy’s next appointment.
Rebecca says, “Stacy never told me anything else about Sean but how much she liked him, how caring her was and that she really thought he could help! I seriously went into that appointment, in his office, envisioning a 60 year old man to walk in the door, that’s just what I had in my head. And boy, he sure wasn’t what I expected! I was so impressed with his knowledge base! I had NEVER met anyone like him, in a doctor, or otherwise. He made so much sense! It was obvious, he was very bright, and he seemed to really get it, he didn’t just see a cancer patient, he saw a person that needed help. It was really one of the most incredible experiences I had, meeting him in that treatment room.”
Stacy was in late stage cancer. At that second appointment, her liver had started to shut down, she was jaundiced, although Sean tried hard to save her, it was just too late. She was too far advanced, but Sean NEVER gave up. He came to St. Louis to treat her as she declined and was unable to travel.
“It was during those times I spent with him in the last weeks of my sister’s life that I fell completely head over heels for him. And as difficult the weeks after her passing in April 2009 were, we blossomed. We married in November of 2010 and I am so thankful that my best friend was able to meet my husband. I don’t think Sean was sent to save Stacy that day in March, he was meant to save me! Watching my sister go through cancer, learning what options our traditional healthcare model had, really left a sour taste in my mouth. Meeting Sean opened up my eyes to an entirely new model of healthcare that treats the individual based on their needs, there is NO cookie cutter approach with Sean’s practices! Each patient is unique and their treatment plan is tailored for them! Although Sean does not treat cancer, he can help the body’s ability to function better while it fights cancer. He is concerned with all of the body’s systems, making sure they all are running efficiently, to give the body the support it needs to establish normal function.”
Rebecca and Sean have been working professionally together since January of 2011. Together they have worked tirelessly to make their vision a reality. That vision is to grow the business to have the capacity to help even more people! “We one day see a clinic type of setting, where people from all over the country come to us because they see the value in the type of revolutionary care we provide!”
